By accessing or using Thalian, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Thalian on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Thalian provides an AI-powered IT intelligence platform. The platform connects to your existing identity providers, endpoint managers, security tools, and ITSM systems to provide unified visibility, automated risk analysis, and guided remediation. Thalian acts as an intelligence and orchestration layer: it does not replace your existing tools.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must use a valid work email address. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Thalian connects to third-party platforms (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, CrowdStrike, and Jira) through OAuth or API credentials that you provide. By connecting an integration, you authorize Thalian to access and process data from that platform as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to connect your organization's accounts. Integration credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and can be revoked at any time from within the platform.
Thalian uses artificial intelligence (currently Anthropic's Claude API) to analyze data from your connected integrations, generate security findings, and provide remediation recommendations. By using the service, you acknowledge that data from your connected integrations may be transmitted to our AI provider for real-time processing. Your data is not used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on AI data handling.
You retain all rights to your data. Thalian does not claim ownership of any data ingested through integrations. You grant Thalian a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service, including generating security findings, running analysis rules, and producing remediation recommendations.
Thalian may offer free trials and paid subscription plans. Trial limitations and subscription pricing are disclosed at the time of signup. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe and renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date. To cancel, visit Settings → Billing within the platform or contact support@thalian.ai. You will receive a reminder 7 days before renewal. Access continues through the end of the current billing period; no refunds for partial months.
You agree not to use Thalian to violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform. You agree not to use Thalian to exfiltrate, redistribute, or resell data obtained through connected integrations.
We implement security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, row-level security for workspace data isolation, and HMAC-SHA256 OAuth state verification. For full details, visit our Security & Trust page. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials and connected integration credentials.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Thalian does not offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) at this time. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party integrations or providers.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Thalian, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Thalian is provided "as is." Security findings and remediation recommendations are generated through automated analysis and AI processing and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before action. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thalian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on its findings.
Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases and your data is deleted within 30 days per our data retention policy. Integration credentials are deleted immediately upon disconnection.
The service may be subject to United States export control laws and regulations. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer the service or any related technical data to any country, entity, or person prohibited by applicable export control laws, including U.S. sanctions programs administered by OFAC.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Texas, or, for claims within the jurisdictional limits, in the state or federal courts located in Texas. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration related to these terms or the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Thalian after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
